Les pr\u00e9occupations croissantes concernant le bien-\u00eatre animal et la viabilit\u00e9 \u00e9cologique stimulent la demande en mati\u00e8re de production animale responsable, tandis que la pression \u00e9conomique sur les producteurs s\u2019intensifie en raison de l\u2019augmentation des prix des intrants avec peu ou pas de changements dans les prix de vente des produits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des preuves scientifiques d\u00e9montrent comment le bien-\u00eatre animal et la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 des vaches sont li\u00e9s. L\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche de WELL-E exploitera l\u2019intelligence artificielle et l\u2019Internet des objets (IoT) pour d\u00e9tecter les changements dans le bien-\u00eatre des vaches, fournissant ainsi aux producteurs l\u2019information dont ils ont besoin pour am\u00e9liorer et prolonger la vie de leur b\u00e9tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les op\u00e9rations seront initialement test\u00e9es sur deux exploitations agricoles de recherche avant de s\u2019\u00e9tendre \u00e0 des exploitations commerciales \u00e0 travers le pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet engagement en faveur de la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et du bien-\u00eatre des vaches repr\u00e9sente une occasion unique pour l\u2019industrie laiti\u00e8re canadienne de d\u00e9montrer son leadership en mati\u00e8re d\u2019am\u00e9lioration et de garantie de sa viabilit\u00e9, qu\u2019elle soit \u00e9conomique, environnementale ou sociale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
